The markets heard that Yahoo was coming out with their new search and guess they liked it and the SUNW and GLW reports as well so that started the buying then no one wanted to be left out and the shorts had to cover. (that's was one sentence) I guess I do not understand why the new search is interesting. I use Google and can find everything I look for on the first try usually so have no reason to use any other search engine. Regardless the buying was strong today and after hours EBAY reported and is running higher. Many people got hit last week when tech stocks had a big one day drop so today was probably not pleasant as they needed to decide if they were going to buy back or not. MSFT reports Thursday night so that may further the tech move or halt it in its tracks.

Yesterday, Tuesday,  we had a super day. In the Morning Video we featured three stocks for pullback buys and all three CYTR, NTMD and HIHO did very well. NTMD  we originally bought at the trend line break in December and have traded it a couple of times though it could have just been held as the chart is a good one. The Tuesday buy was at $2.70 and today it hit the top resistance at $3.50.

We figured as we had 7 stocks that hit the buy point on Tuesday that Wednesday might be a bit slower but ... wrong. Today we had 6 hit their buy points and the all out leader was TRMM. We had it as a buy at the current price of $2.25 or a break out at $2.40. In both cases it was super today. It closed up 49%. The video page and the site in general had its biggest day ever today as word spreads of the many great trades.

The Dow made a new high today also.

The Nasdaq had a good rally today but ended right under its broken trend line so tomorrow will be telling as it needs to get back over the resistance and stay there.

S&P 500 broke out of its range today.

Here are a few new ones for our watch list:

MIPS right at a break so use caution in the first 20-minutes of trading as often this can be a fake out time.

NLS closed right at a break point at $16.32

nls2401.png

ECTX from Drucwolf would break over $5.25

ectx2401.png

MCDTA tried a break today and failed but may try again soon over $6.60 or $6.70.

GT would break out over $25.15 - Cooper Tire did a bit today already. (From Dodger)

CUP is back on the list with a buy over $4.10 (copper)

cyp2401.png

RES tried a break today and sometimes this type of candle can signal a pullback but we will watch as the market is bullish and this may continue and if not we will watch for consolidation.

TKO not an exact point as this stock can leave shadow tops but at about $3.15 may be good if you see heavy volume.

WFII had a bear flag in August and it fell then another one built up until the end of December and it fell and maybe it is not finished yet. There is though a lot of tech interest now so this seems worth watching for at least a small profit on a break above $2.55.

We had only a day of snow so I had no time to make a pretty white picture so grabbed a  nice one from the summer. This is a 100 yards outside the Kremlin and too the left is Alexander's garden and the tomb of the unknown soldier. There used to be building on the site on the right and when they were torn down in about 1992 or so the mayor decided to not allow a tall building to go up so they build a 3-story sopping center underground instead. They also decided to open up a small section of this river that had be buried for many years.
